Good News for Tourists across the country – Pakistan Launched New Airline

Pakistan Launches a new private airline namely “North Air” to enhance tourism across the country. In this regard, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) released the license to Tourism Promotion and Regional Integration (TPRI). This new airline conducts flights for Gwadar, Chitral, Gilgit as well as Skardu.

The new airline makes travelling easier and convenient for tourists across Pakistan.  In the beginning, the North Airline operated flights from Islamabad to Gilgit, Islamabad to Chitral, Islamabad to Skardu and Islamabad-Gwadar respectively. Moreover, the head office of the new Airline is developed at the new Airport of Islamabad.

The Pakistani government is working hard to enhance tourism in the country. In this regard, Pakistan International Flight (PIA) operates direct flights from Lahore to the northern areas. Furthermore, the airline also announces plans to conduct flights from Karachi to Skardu twice a week.

NCOC Permits to Resume Tourism from 24th May 2021.

Pakistan Launches New Airline, NCOC (National command to operation center) has permitted the Tourism department along with SOPs across Pakistan from 24th May. While focusing on the SOP guidelines, NCOC states that all the tourists will be tested for the Covid-19. The tourist will be allowed to stay in the hostels or guesthouses only if they reported negative for coronavirus.

Additionally, tourists have to show their National Identity cards and vaccination certificates if they are vaccinated against Covid. Furthermore, NCOC doesn’t allow hotel staff to secure rooms for people who will not submit their vaccination certificates. Especially, the hotel managers will not allow people above 50 years to enter the hotel or guesthouse premises without their vaccination certificates.

To Conclude:

The PIA operates Airbus A-320 to provide services in Skardu. Additionally, the cost for one person is Rs.7500. People must follow all the SOP guidelines of NCOC otherwise the government takes strict action against them. Furthermore, all the hotels and guest houses have to make sure that hand sanitizers and face masks will be available at the entrance.
