Pakistan gets approval to work as a seller on Amazon:

On Thursday, Abdul Razak Dawood, the adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce and investment, said that Pakistan gets approval to do business on Amazon’s largest online platform. He is delighted to say that Pakistan will nearly enlist in the giant seller’s list of the Amazon e-commerce store.

Abdul Razak Dawood Statement:

On social media, the Prime Minister’s adviser expressed his pleasure in getting approval for selling on Amazon. “We finally made it. We have been dealing with Amazon for last year in this regard, and now we are successful. It is the golden opportunity for our youngsters, entrepreneurs working on small to medium scales as well as for female entrepreneurs.” Abdul Razak Dawood says.

In this regard, Dawood says that Pakistan has finally achieved this huge milestone. This could be possible by the teamwork of several people throughout the globe.

This is a green signal for Pakistani sellers as now they will be able to sell their items worldwide. Moreover, this approval will also benefit merchants of Pakistan as they sell their products all over the globe with ease and convenience. However, this approval doesn’t benefit Pakistani buyers or consumers.

Furthermore, Doctor Shahbaz Gill, who is the special Assistance to the Prime minister on political information, says that in the presence of the current government, Pakistan can achieve something that has not been acquired from the last decade of Pakistan’s History.

Finally, “Amazon welcomes Pakistan in its list of sellers. With this milestone, Pakistan can step into the international market. This milestone brings about billions of investments and provides employment opportunities to Pakistanis.” Doctor Shahbaz added by thanking Imran Khan in his recent tweet.

Final Thoughts:

The Ministry of Commerce shared a list of about 38 exporters with Amazon for registration purposes last year. The objective was to enhance the trading and provide new opportunities for Pakistani sellers. Further details were shared during the second meeting of the National e-commerce council. The 38 exporters include sports goods, surgical instruments, and home textiles. This list will expand shortly.
