Islamabad: Prime Minister Held National Intelligence Coordination Committee:
On Wednesday, PM Khan conducted the National Intelligence Coordination Committee in Islamabad. The discussion involved a detailed demonstration of increased intelligence cooperation.
Moreover, Prime Minister Imran Khan acknowledges the continuous efforts that the National Intelligence Coordination Committee is making for the development and establishment of the country.
On 22nd January 2021, NICC was observed by the Government:
General Faiz Hamid, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence Lieutenant receives Imran Khan on his arrival. Furthermore, Sheikh Rashid, Fawad Chaudhry, and heads of services intelligence agencies, FIA, and the IB also join the meeting.
As a matter of fact, the National Intelligence Coordination Committee is the specific platform that deals with the cooperation as well as coordination of the unified and healthy assessment of national intelligence.
Previously, in May 2021, Prime minister Imran Khan appreciated the hard work of ISI which deals with national security and expressed his gratitude for their preparedness regarding security. Moreover, many government officials were involved in the meeting of ISI Secretariat. Some of the Federal Ministers that appeared with PM were:
- Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister for Defence
- Pervez Khattak, Minister for Information and Broadcasting
- Fawad Chaudhry, Minister for Interior
- Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee
- General Nadeem Raza, Chief of Army Staff
- General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral
- Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and,
- Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar.
In addition, during his visit, PM Khan provided detailed instructions on the subject of civil as well military leadership on national and regional protection respectively.
Conclusion:
Prime Minister Imran Khan pays a visit to NICC this Wednesday. He appreciates the efforts and constant hard work of this committee. In addition, many government ministers also joined the conversation along with the PM. Previously. Also, the PM visited ISI and expressed his pleasure over their efforts too. These committees are working well to make the country strong and secure.
