Malik Riaz refuses to undergo Covid testing – Lahore Airport manager:

Lahore Airport alert! The real estate business entrepreneur Malik Riaz, who arrives at Lahore airport on Sunday along with his spouse, daughter and other team members, refuses to undergo the Covid test (Rapid Antigen Testing). Apparently, it seems that Malik Riaz violated the rules of NCOC, National Command and operation center. According to the senior officials, Malik Riaz is violating the SOPs and government instructions.

In this regard, according to the chief operating officer and manager of Lahore Airport, Akhtar Mirza, the CEO of Bahria Town says no to the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) team of the airport in case of providing the Covid samples for testing the team went to his residence for the collection of samples but Malik refuses.

According to the resources, It was around 10.30 pm on Sunday. Malik landed at the Lahore Allama Iqbal International airport along with his family through a chartered Dubai’s flight.

A Letter Issued to CAA Headquarters regarding this violation at Lahore Airport:

The letter says, “after the testing of all the passengers of the flight, when CAA team requested Malik and his fellows for coronavirus RAT testing, they did not respond and went straight towards the exit gate of international arrivals”. Moreover, the CAA team acknowledged the crew about NCOC instructions regarding Covid testing but they didn’t listen to the team and went away. Later on, two members of Malik’s group undergoes RAT testing and found negative for coronavirus.

However, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Malik Riaz went out from the Lahore airport without testing. This is considered as the open negligence of NCOC SOP guidelines. Afterwards, seeing this careless behavior of the property tycoon, CAA communicated with the government and with the orders of NCOC, the two-membered CAA team arrives at the residence of Malik Riaz for the collection of samples but again, there was a straight NO from Malik.

After this incident, the letter was issued to the airport directors of Karachi to take the necessary actions. In the notification, CAA says, “it seems that most of the passengers are travelling with the fake Covid results. These people, not only, putting the lives of the travelling passengers at risk, but also, spreading Covid internationally”.
