NADRA has started construction of another mega centre in Karachi

NADRA National Database and Registration Authority started the construction of another mega Centre in Karachi after five years. According to details, the NADRA administration has begun construction of the fourth mega centre at Karachi University Road to facilitate the city’s residents.

Seven mega centres :

The (NADRA) National Database and Registration Authority extended the expiry date of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) due to floods in various regions of the country. Moreover, NADRA planned to set up a total of seven mega centers in the city. After District East, mega centers will also be built in Malir, Kemari. Meanwhile, officials have written a letter to NADRA headquarters for fresh recruitment for the mega-center.

The expiry date for CNICs,

NADRA stated that the CNIC expiry date, which ended in May 2022, has been extended to December 2022. The dates have been raised in the flood-affected areas of Balochistan, Sukkur, and Dera Ghazi Khan.

Meanwhile, officials have written a letter to the NADRA headquarters for fresh recruitment for the mega-center. Earlier this month, the National Database and Registration Authority extended the expiry date of Computerized National Identification Cards (CNICs) due to floods in various regions of the country. According to a statement issued by NADRA, the CNIC expiry date, which ended in May 2022, has been extended to December 2022. The dates have been extended in the flood-affected areas of Balochistan, Sukkur, and Dera Ghazi Khan. Citizens of the above three regions can renew their CNICs until December 31, 2022.
