The Government to initiate vaccine registration for people above 30 years from 16th of May 2021. In this regard, Asad Umar, the Federal Minister of Planning, Development, special initiatives, and reforms says that the supply of vaccines is improving in all the units of federal areas. Moreover, the federal ministry continues to expand the registration of coronavirus vaccines, especially for eligible to get the vaccination.

As vaccine supply continues to improve and vaccination capacity gets enhanced in all Federating units, we continue to expand the categories of those who are eligible to get vaccinated. Starting sunday the 16th of May, registration will be open to all 30 years and older citizens

Government to Initiate the registration from 16th of May:

As per the news of the Federal Ministry, registration of the Covid vaccines will start from the 16th of May. Previously, citizens above 40 years old were welcomed to take the coronavirus vaccines from today. Moreover, the people who already registered themselves were given the facility to enter their nearby vaccination centers. Here, they can get the vaccines against coronavirus.

On the other side, recent reports of Pakistan claim about a hundred and four deaths in the last twenty-four hours from coronavirus. Also, the positive cases of coronavirus have reached 867,446. Talking about the worldwide figure, the cases have reached 19,210. The National Command and operation Center (NCOC) revealed about 2,869 positive coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

While talking to the media about the coronavirus Pandemic and its adverse effects, Asad Umar says that about 7% of the population falls in the category of people aged above 60. Moreover, 53% of deaths are reported under this umbrella. This is why the Federal Government allows vulnerable groups of people to get coronavirus vaccines. Doing this action cures many people and saves many lives as the coronavirus increases with the increased mobility rates. The only way to prevent this virus is to follow the SOP guidelines issued by NCOC. People have to wear masks, sanitize and wash their hands thoroughly after short intervals. Also, maintain social distancing in this crucial time.
