Exploring Pakistan’s Hidden Treasures: TikTok’s #GhoomoPakistan initiative, designed to showcase Pakistan’s undiscovered beauty, culture, and landscapes, concludes with a remarkable 2.3 billion video views over two months.

The campaign captivated audiences with captivating content, offering a glimpse of travel experiences from all corners of Pakistan. As it wraps up on World Tourism Day, TikTok not only achieved outstanding engagement but also contributed to Pakistan’s emergence as an appealing global travel destination.

Promoting Responsible Tourism:

The primary goal of TikTok’s #GhoomoPakistan campaign was to advocate responsible tourism and dispel misconceptions about Pakistan’s potential as a tourist hotspot. The initiative aimed to unveil lesser-explored travel destinations and spotlight Pakistan’s diverse beauty, history, culture, and art. TikTok partnered with four top creators to explore enchanting regions: Rana Hamza Saif journeyed through Islamabad, Skardu, and Hunza, while Zenith, “The Motorbike Girl,” explored Islamabad, Neelum Valley, and Arang Kel. Zernab Shastri and Minahil Malik delved into the beauty of Swat, Malam Jabba, and Kalam. These creators shared diverse stories and breathtaking landscapes.

Collaborating with Local Creators:

TikTok also partnered with over 15 local travel creators and featured videos of more than 100 creators, showcasing Pakistan’s unique routes, hidden treasures, local eateries, and heartwarming encounters with its people.

A One-Stop Resource for Travelers:

As part of the campaign, TikTok introduced a dedicated #GhoomoPakistan travel hub. This hub offered scenic routes, travel tips, hotel recommendations, and a special section on Pakistan’s rich culinary offerings, serving as a comprehensive resource for travelers seeking to explore the country’s hidden gems.
