Presiding over a meeting in Lahore on Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that a petroleum relief package would be given to low-income consumers who have motorcycles, rickshaws, 800cc cars, and other small vehicles.

Petroleum Relief Package:

He said that the petroleum program would launch soon, and a detailed plan would develop with the help of relevant departments to ensure the success of this program. He argued that low-income people use motorcycles, rickshaws, and small cars and that fuel subsidies help the poor. “We are doing whatever we can to help people,” he said. However, Masaddik Malik, the minister of state for petroleum, explained plans for low-income people in society to access petroleum subsidies. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Ahad Cheema, Special Adviser to Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, and other senior officials were present in this meeting. Today in Islamabad, the Prime Minister held an emergency meeting with his friends.
