The federal cabinet is divided over the matter of a FIR enrolled against previous PM Nawaz Sharif blaming him for criminal plan over his ongoing provocative speech that were made from London.

During a gathering of the federal cabinet on Tuesday, two federal ministers and a special assistant recommended that the FIR enlisted against Nawaz should arrive at its logical end result.

Although, Prime Minister Imran Khan and different individuals from the cabinet stayed resolved that the administration was not in favor for getting political revenge on the opposition.

The other ministers were of the opinion that the FIR against Nawaz ought to be rejected.

The FIR enrolled against Nawaz on October 1 was held up by a resident in the Shahdra Police Station’s jurisdiction. The case was enrolled under the provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code for criminal scheme against the PML-N chief and different leaders.

The divide comes a day after Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that PM Imran was ignorant of the situation and that he had communicated extreme anger over it.

He said, filing treason cases isn’t our PTI government’s strategy. These were the strategies used during Nawaz Sharif’s residency.

The minister further said that PM Imran and his legislature ought not to be engaged with the issue.

Punjab government will discover who did this and inquire it. Faraz said, this has nothing to do with us federal government. He included that PM Imran was neither free neither does he follow FIRs.
