The government has officially announced that 25th December 2023 will be a public holiday commemorating the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the nation’s founder. This coincides with the Christmas celebrations of Christians in Pakistan. Per the Cabinet Division’s statement, the day will witness dual festivities, with official events and ceremonies held nationwide to honor Quaid-e-Azam Jinnah’s life, political contributions, and pivotal role in shaping present-day Pakistan. The celebrations are anticipated to include school processions, marches, scouting rallies, and dedicated TV and radio programs highlighting his enduring legacy.
