The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the first Zil Hajjah would be on Monday, July 12, and noted that the ten Zil Hajjah or Bakra Eid would be on July 21 in Pakistan.

Civil servants are likely to get nine holidays like those of last Eid. The official holidays are due to start on July 20 (Hajj Day) on Tuesday. Since Monday is the only working day in the week, there is a good chance of being included in the holidays. However, because public offices do not operate on weekends, the census will begin on Saturday, July 17.

As Bakra Eid will be required on Wednesday, July 21, the next three days will be compulsory holidays and another weekend on July 24 and 25 to allow civil servants to get nine days off from 17 to July 25.

Offices are expected to open from July 25. yet, no official news has been made by the government. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is meeting today in Karachi to find Zil Hajj month. The statement will be made by Chairman Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad after consultation with experts and committee members.

Meanwhile, coronavirus cases are rising again, and the government fears the fourth wave in the coming days.
