President Arif Alvi asks Ulema to Convince people to take vaccination:
President Arif Alvi requested the Islamic Scholars to teach people about the importance of taking the vaccines against Covid-19. In this regard, Arif Alvi says that all the health experts are constantly pushing people to take the vaccine doses but it seems that people are not serious about it.
President Alvi also says that the religious scholars and Ulemas are cordially requested to acknowledge the people about Covid-19 and its adverse effect during the Sermons of Friday’s Prayer. In this way, people learn that vaccination has now become an important part of living.
Furthermore, “the government aims to vaccinate about 70 million people by the end of 2021 respectively”. Arif Alvi added. While addressing the conference with the Islamic Scholars, Alvi says that all the health professionals are trying their level best to convince all the people to get vaccinated in order to control the coronavirus Pandemic.
In the speech of President Alvi, the Ulemas also express their satisfaction. Moreover, they also believe that all people should get their vaccine doses on time. However, the sermons are not compulsory.
About 8 Million People Have Already Got The Vaccines Till Now:
According to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the government has vaccinated about 305,093 people on 1st June 2021. As a whole, Pakistan has vaccinated about eight million people.
Furthermore, the recent reports show less than 2,000 coronavirus cases for the second continuous day. However, the figures report about 1,843 new cases. Additionally, talking about the countrywide tally, the ratio of the corona-positive cases stands at 3.9%. Now, the ratio of positivity has dropped to 5%. This shows that the nation is moving toward a state of recovery.
Conclusion:
As a matter of fact, NCOC reports say that 47,183 tests were taken within the last 24 hours. Out of which 1,843 people are corona positive. Under this figure, around 80 patients lost their lives. The health experts successfully recovered the rest. However, the number of active corona-positive cases is still 55,052. People need to take their vaccination seriously to take over this pandemic.
