The Drama Serial “Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi” is a project by Kashf Foundation. The drama is featuring Yasra Rizvi and Yumna Zaidi, who are all geared up to star in the drama on human trafficking. The drama is directed by Kashif Nisar and written by Amna Mufti.
About the drama serial:
The drama serial “Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi” consists of three consecutive stories. The stories revolve around a young female cricketer, a child abused, and human trafficking. The drama contains many characters like Nauman Ejaz, Samiya Mumtaz, Wahaj Ali, and Omair Rana, and the lives of the three main characters will come together.
According to Yasra Rizvi “, All of the characters are victims of human trafficking., child labor, child marriage, teenage women used for sex work or domestic slaves — all the struggles of these characters are portrayed and the story revolves around the challenges they face being stuck within the cruel system and their situations,”
Manto Actress Yasra Rizvi:
Yasra Rizvi gave some insight into the drama saying that “Yumna and I are characters living in an elite brothel and go to parties and social gatherings from there. Our lives, the characters who keep pushing us down that hole — namely Naveed Shahzad who runs the brothel — become very important.”
In the drama serial, Yasra Rizvi shares a very deep bond with Yumna Zaidi, in terms of struggles and misery they were subjected to.
The actress also praised the phenomenal directorial skills of Kashif Nisar. Further, she said that why his serials are perfect and outstanding was all revealed to her while working with him.
Yumna Zaidi:
Famous actress Yumna Zaidi also stated that working with Yasra was an excellent experience. Yasra is a very talented actress and always do justice in the role she’s given stated Yumna.
Yumna stated “It’s a cause-based serial and has been made with a lot of care and sensitivity,”
The drama will be aired on our television on 18th January 2021 on Channel TV One.
