South Assistant Commissioner, Sarah Jawaid clarified the circumstance. The Sindh government and district organizations are following the strategies of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on COVID-19 SOPs.

She said that the cash gathered is being kept with the Sindh government’s Board of Revenue. The penalty sum is submitted to any part of the National Bank of Pakistan in the BoR’s Treasury Account.

The information of the quantity of fines gave out is submitted to the deputy commissioner’s office daily. This is then sent to the Karachi Commissioner Office and after gathering it is shipped off National Command and Operation Center.

South deputy commissioner representative said the cash gathered as penalty will be utilized by the legislature as financial help for needy families, holding government functions and pay salaries to contract workers.
